A.C. Wise is the author of Hooked and the bestselling Wendy, Darling. She also has two short story collections published by Lethe Press, Catfish Lullaby, a novella published by Broken Eye Books (2019), and The Ghost Sequences, a short story collection published by Undertow Books (2021), which was shortlisted for a 2021 Bram Stoker Award. Her work has won the Sunburst Award for Excellence in Canadian Literature of the Fantastic, as well as twice being a finalist for the Nebula Award, twice being a finalist for the Sunburst Award, and being a finalist for the Lambda Literary Awards. In addition to her fiction, she contributes semi-regular review columns to The Book Smugglers and Apex Magazine. Originally from Canada, she now lives in Pennsylvania, US. She tweets at @ac_wise.

A. J. Elwood studied literature and history, which everyone assured her would never have any relevance to what she ended up doing. She remains fascinated by times when people could believe in things we think of as madness and have perfectly good reasons for doing so. An early obsession with fairy tales has stayed with her and she loves to pen stories that contain a little bit of magic and often more than a little of the strange. Genevieve Gornichec earned her degree in history from The Ohio State University, but she got as close to majoring in Vikings as she possibly could, and her study of the Norse myths and Icelandic sagas became her writing inspiration. Rio Youers is a British Fantasy Award-nominated author whose short fiction has been published in many notable anthologies. His novel, Westlake Soul, was nominated for Canada's prestigious Sunburst Award and his latest book, Halcyon, was labelled 'a tornado of a novel' by Shirley Jackson Awards juror Paul Tremblay. Rio lives in southwestern Ontario with his wife, Emily, and their children.
