Perfect for fans of the Bridgerton series by Julia Quinn. Lacey is an English teacher at a fancy girls' school in Switzerland. Her young pupils have something in common: all of them seem to be in love with the school doctor Roger Soames. Finding him quite rude and off-putting, Lacey finds herself drawn instead to the alluring Doctor Ludwig Heist. There is a problem, though, as he does not seem the least bit interested in Lacey. Rather, his eyes are more fixed upon one different lady after another. What can Lucy do to grab the attention of the man he so desires? Set in beautiful Switzerland, the love tale from the 20th century was written under the pseudonym Rose Burghley belonging to no other than the master of romance herself, Ida Pollock.A must-read for fans of literary romance and surprising twists of fate.-
